I have noticed that the driver device of 3dfx in cooker package
"Device3Dfx-2.3.4-7mdk.i586.rpm" is only build for the smp kernel, when
there are basically four kernel packages in mandrake: normal, fb, smp,
and secure (not counting linus).
Also the "alsa-0.5.7-4mdk" package contains files for normal, fb, and
smp
Another package having files in the /lib/modules dir is
"BasiliskII-sheepnet-0.8-12mdk" with files in smp only
Another problem with this packages (except for alsa, I think) is that
there is no requirement to upgrade them when you upgrade the kernel
packages, leaving you with a bunch of useles files under "/lib/modules",
and drivers not working.
