------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-15 02:35 ------- I've read thru Rage3D forum and found that I have to edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and do this to enable 3D support for Radeons: 1. Add Load "dri" under Section "Module" 2. Add Section "DRI" Mode 0666 EndSection 3. Restart XFree86 And it looks like 3D is working now :). I think this entries should be added by Mandrake X setup utility during setup. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: Using Mandrake 9.1 RC2 with ATI Radeon 8500 on Abit KT7A-RAID motherboard. After installing I noticed that hardware 3D accelaration thru DRI is not enabled. I tried runing some OpenGL apps and they are runing very slow.
