          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'm using a Toshiba Sattelite pro laptop with a 1024x768 tft-screen on it.
Video adapter is: 'Nvidia Geforce4 to go'. I have not installed anything
besides Mandrake Linux 9.1rc2, so I have also not downloaded any special Nvidia-
Linux drivers or something.

After a while when I'm not using my laptop, the screen goes blank into some
kind of power-safe mode. This seems like perfectly OK to me. However, when I
hit any key to get the desktop back, the resolution of the screen is not ok: it
looks like it is 800x600 instead of 1024x768, but the desktop is still 1024x768
pixels, due to which is cannot see my entire desktop.
