Another suggestion : instead of beta1, beta2, beta3 naming of testing
releases, just one beta, and then a lot of RC. Even more machiavelic :) :
make people believe the final release is 7 days before the real gold state.
Apparently, people (and I blame myself too) begin to report bugs at the last
minute, and unfortunately, too many bugs appear in bugzilla at the same
time. You would then have more time to correct bugs.

On the other hand, urpmi is very nice to update the release, so it is not so
important to have a 100% bug-free final if the update repository contain
corrected packages. However, I don't know if reviewers take time to download
updates when they write their paper.
