I have to confess, I am not familiar with apic and/or apci or what is their influence. Could I simply change apic or apci on/off ? (Naturally change it in lilo.conf and then write a new lilo).
At the moment I have the workaround: I have formatted the partition with AcronisOsSelector and then installed rc2 again. W. Kasberg
