------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-18 20:30 ------- I testet it on mandrake 9.0 with the latest vpnclient version. It works fine now. qa wrote: ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: When installing Cisco VPN client 3.5.2 to 3.5.3 (3 latest tested) on Mandrake 9 beta 1, it craches, when the service starts. The result is some kind of hanging service, that you can't kill with "kill -9 pid" and the PC needs to be powered off. I also have had some other services, that I can't kill on Mandrake 9. Another problem is that the install scripts needs to be changed, since Mandrake 8.2 and 9 does not return a correct answer to the root uid. I don't know why, I just change the script. It is just at a test to see that the user is root. The init script also needs to be changed.
