urpmi should mount the nfs volume automatically. it might have experienced
problems trying to do so. can you reproduce when using urpmi instead of
rpmdrake? can you see by yourself if the files are accessible? if not, why the
nfs volume can't be mounted? the problem will probably come from there.

The current rpmdrake does not find packages on a mounted nfs directory. After
searching for a certain package the program shows some of the corresponding
names, but after pressing the 'install' button I get an error message like
"error(s) reported: unable to access medium "Installation CD .." "
