VNCSERVERS="1:me" I start the vncserver... service vncserver start Then, as "me" I view the result... vncviewer localhost:1 What I see is an empty desktop with the default wallpaper, two small icons in the bottom-right corner and the mouse keeps flashing "busy" once every two seconds or so. I also see this if I use vncviewer from a remote machine. I will upload a screen-shot. My normal graphics mode is 1280x1024x24 and the vnc screen appears to be 1024x768. Checked against cooker. Most recent version already installed.
