Why urpmi needs an external program to download a file from an ftp server ?
gnome libs doesn't support ftp transfert ? IMHO, using kde/qt would have been
much easier and less buggier to do this job.
Anyway, urmpi should report errors even without using -v.

doesn�t accept anonymous login anymore. urmpi prints:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# urpmi.update ftp

...retrieving done

examining synthesis file [/var/lib/urpmi/synthesis.hdlist.contrib.cz]
So urmpi says �...retrieving done� whereas it hasn�t retrieved anything.
