It does.

Additionally, it also sometimes affects (for me):
-typing in the address bar
-typing in the search field in messenger

Sometimes restarting one component helps. I also wonder if it has to do 
with amount of free memory, since it almost never occurs with less than 1 
hour use of mozilla.
