I have also problems with ISDN. After installing the MDK 9.1 on my desk the
final configuration screen for printer, keyboard, mouse network etc appears. I
can choose the button for config my network. Autodetect finds my cheap
ASUSCOM/ASKEY passive ISDN card and makes it possible to configure it. After
choosing the internet provider, tel number etc. the final click to close the
setup dialog leads into a complete freeze of my machine. No chance to see an
error report or some other messages to check what a kind of sh... happens.
Anybody else the same problem??
If I configure my network after installation reboot, it seems to work.
Im also prefer a tool like kisdn or the isdn-config from knoppix (formerly
developed by Red Hat). This is a very user friendly tool and makes me possible
to choose different provider. Very useful on Sundays, if can call for toll
free! Please, grab it and include it in the next release!

description:
There are problems with the internet connection over isdn using drakconnect
(mandrake 9.1 rc2). There is no possiblity to choose the 'way' (lan or isdn)
to connect with the internet in the configuration wizard like in mandrake 9.0.
In addition to that no device 'ippp0' is created so that connection
by manual configuration with 'isdn setup' is also not possible.
So connecting with the internet using drakconnect (over isdn with isdn4linux)
is simply impossible in the curent version.
