Sorry -- I should have clarified.
I think the proper term is "equalizer settings." If you have ever used winamp, you will recall that the program downloads with several predefined equalizer settings for various types of music -- there will be one with xtra bass for techno songs, or extra treble for pop songs, etc. Instead of having the Mandrake user have to define these for himself or herself, it would be nice if there were about a dozen already there that could simply be tweaked.
