forgot to tell something...hehe...
first to install the system:
press F1 on Graphical Menu, then type "alt1" - whithout the quotes - (it boots
install using a 2.2 kernel)
You need also to make a bootdisk (using one of 2.2 kernel bootdisks found on
mandrake 9.1 cd)
after you finish installing, you need to use the bootdisk to boot your system.
Again, press F1 on Graphical Menu, then type "rescue root=/dev/????", where ????
is your root partition.
after you boot you just need to recompile the kernel, and VOIL!
:)
(well, actually, not just VOIL...it took me at least 5 kernel recompilations...)
Ps.: use mandrake kernel source, since you'll only find "supermount" on mandrake
 kernel source.

I have a K7VMM Mother Board, Athlon XP-1800, 256 DDR-RAM, 80GB HDD, Liteon CDRW.
I have other Athlon machines to. On the K7VMM instalation of mandrake 9.1 betas
2 froze the PC just after the very first screen where you can pres enter or F1.
I have presed F1 and tryed text, noapic, meem=248 (8 are video), I have also
tried changind lost of things at BIOS. Nothing works. The same happens with
Mandrake 9.0 relase version and RedHat8.0. Mandrake 8.2 Installs and run very
good. No text is displayed so ther are no mesages I can add. A guy on a forum
told me to install 8.2 and then to upgrade to 9.0 threw a floppy disk (direct
instalation with floppy does not work) When I get this info my drive was
unusuable so I have not try. I did try the installation from floppy does not work.
