I don't think it is wise to mix business with politics (that coming from a South African who has seen what sanctions do to the people they are supposedly helping - and sanctions is one example of the problems with mixing politics and business). <directed at the boycotter>Are you boycotting SuSE? Consider how much you would affect the Arab economies over one year of using your bicycle for everything instead of your car, compared to how much you would affect the French economy by not buying a PowerPack. Mandrakesoft probably has very little impact on the French GDP, and thus almost no political clout. Boycotting them will most likely no political effect, but will harm open source software development.
