           Product: mozilla
         Component: mozilla
Summary: some letters have weird vertical alignment (e.g. "a"'s
                    are low)
           Version: 1.3-1mdk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Perform a fresh Mandrake 9.1 install, then look at the following web page (among
others):
http://msnbc.com/news/896267.asp?0sl=-23

Notice how some letters in "Correspondent rode to gates of Baghdad with 3rd
Infantry Dvisision" seem a bit too low. This is probably worst with the letter
"a" but it might be a problem with "t" as well. It gives the text a really weird
appearance.

This gives the text a weird, perhaps even unprofessional, appearance. It also
makes it more difficult to read.

I'll attach a screenshot of another page (unfortunately no longer on MSNBC in
its original form) which shows another instance of this bug. It even appears
with the qa.mandrakesoft.com Bugzilla form that I'm using now: the "a" in
"please" (as in "please write in english only") looks too big and low compared
to the rest of the word.

This is 100% reproducible for me, on two separate computers and monitors.
