I believe there is some sort of problem with GRUB. I run on a 350mhz AMD
chip and IDE enhanced drives. No SCSI this time. Just SCSI scanner. I
decided to use GRUB instead of LILO for the first time, since I have
large drives.
The problem is now that Norton Anti Virus no longer works. When it loads
it says "unable to create a list of devices". Removing Norton and
re-installing it fixes nothing. I'll try to remove Grub and install Lilo
to see if this solves it, but I'm betting it does. It must be occupying
a place in the MBR that Norton wants to use. ???
How do I know if Ultra DMA is being taken advantage of in the new
Mandrake?
