> /etc/exports No ?

Yes, my mistake.

To summurize : I share files between my laptop and my desktop machine,
zebportable.zebdomain and zebmain.zebdomain respectively.

------

On the laptop zebportable.zebdomain :

lsnetdrake --nfs gives
zebmain.zebdomain:/home/zeb/Desktop
zebmain.zebdomain:/home/zeb/updates
zebportable.zebdomain:/home/zebrc1/rpm
zebportable.zebdomain:/home/zebrc1/upd

lsnetdrake --smb
//zebportable/ZEBRC1_AVI (/home/zebrc1/avi)
//zebportable/ZEBRC1_RPM (/home/zebrc1/rpm)
//zebportable/ZEBRC1_UPD (/home/zebrc1/upd)
//zebportable/public (Public Stuff)

The /etc/exports file on the laptop is :
/home/zebrc1/rpm *(ro,all_squash,sync)
/home/zebrc1/upd *(ro,all_squash,sync)

------

on the desktop machine zebmain.zebdomain :

lsnetdrake --nfs
zebmain.zebdomain:/home/zeb/Desktop
zebmain.zebdomain:/home/zeb/updates

lsnetdrake --smb
//zebportable/ZEBRC1_AVI (/home/zebrc1/avi)
//zebportable/ZEBRC1_RPM (/home/zebrc1/rpm)
//zebportable/ZEBRC1_UPD (/home/zebrc1/upd)
//zebportable/public (Public Stuff)

its /etc/exports contains
/home/zeb/Desktop *(ro,all_squash,sync)
/home/zeb/updates *(ro,all_squash,sync)

------

So, why my desktop machine is not able to see the nfs shared folders of the
laptop ? since the laptop sees them on itself ? The laptop has both nfs and
samba servers, the main machine has only nfs. I think the problem is related to
that.
