The license is okay, I don't think we need a bunch of lawyers to figure it out =) If we take the package from the original author, it's okay, but we should be careful in applying patches if they come from another author who might have a different license. So you can go ahead and put it in Contribs, many eyes will have a look at it, and if there's a license problem, we'll remove it.
