Not sure why you take the opposite of what I mean and criticize on this opposite meaning. This is funny. I wonder if you have simply read the last line and guess this is all I said, and reply to this last line only.
We're living in an ugly world; especially in some places where politics can override virtually everything (including thoughts, ideals, etc), you have to comply to its rules. But if you're not playing the game, you needn't obey it's rule at all.
This is the case here. If Mandrake wants to go into Chinese markets, it really need to remove flags in boxsets sold to chinese market; otherwise nothing need to be done. This rule applies even when any company wants to sell any commercial products. The problem has nothing related to freedom at all.
Imagine when Mandrake wants to sell boxsets to England, while displaying bold words on its installer: "Her Majesty is a bitch." You will be sure that such product can't be sold to England.
Don't know why everybody wants to express themselves without knowing the root of the problem. That's _interesting_.
