Kind of like Billy Joe Cartwright or my own youngest daughter, Anne-Rose Brooks? We write an accent-grave on the e in Anne not out of great cultural understanding but so that I can call her something like Anna-Rose and my wife can call her something like Annie-Rose. (-: We also have friends who have 11 children, one of whom is named Jonathan and another one John. Causes endless confusion when Aussies typically abberviate Jonathan to Jon. Leon is hard to get wrong, but I still get called Niel, Noel, Leo and Len (in approximately that order of frequency) by strangers. Cheers; Leon
