When trying to build gettext-12.1, or even rebuilding the current cooker gettext-0.11.5-6mdk.src.rpm the build fails because libiconv.so.2 can not be found.
Unless I have missed something there are no libiconv rpms and no current
pkg includes any libiconv.so*, though glibc-devel does contain
libiconv.h
I can pkg libiconv-1.8 and the gettext build will successfully
complete but how is that the Mdk build of gettext is able to be done?
The last update for it was Jun 03 by Stew Benedict.
As I said I may just be missing something but I would be most grateful
if someone could enlighten me as to what it is.
