well, i believe that using a long running antispam daemon that speaks
smtp or lmtp has some noticeable performance advantages, than spawning a
script eache time a mail is received.
I found amavisd-new to be very well fit for the purpose (it is an
interface to antivirus (eg. clamd), spamassassin and razor, and, when
using lmtp can use different rules for different users.
