The rpm scripts section does the command:
ln -sf /usr/lib/slocal /etc/smrsh/slocal
while the slocate program is in /usr/lib/nmh/slocal. The command needs
corrected to
ln -sf /usr/lib/nmh/slocal /etc/smrsh/slocal
