It is planned (I really want to kill both menu and menudrake packages) but currently both KDE and GNOME are not fully supporting freedesktop.org menu spec (this is why RH has disabled menu editing in both RH8 and RH9).. Havoc plan to rewrite menu support in GNOME for 2.4.. I think KDE has now the support for the spec but we can expect some problems between both systems since these are using different implementations of the same spec. So, the safest way is to wait until both environment have working freedesktop.org menu support, and I don't plan to switch Mdk to this system for 9.2 (also because our menu system is also managing MIME types and the new MIME spec is not implemented everywhere..) -- Frdric Crozat MandrakeSoft
