Since the last Release of Mandrake 9.1 I cann't use X on my Laptop.
I have a Toshiba Satellite 2405 S-201.
The video Card is a S3 Graphics Super Savage IXC 1179
At boot time I can see the background desktop for 2 seconds. It disappears
and then the only thing I can see is the Linux Mandrake Logo-Icon. The mouse
pointer always appears on screen. When I click something on the screen it
shows the object only when it is being clicked.
In X logfile I have this error : Failed to fetch any BIOS modes. Disabling BIOS.
