When adding a new ext3 partition on a running system, it's too easy to enter the new 
partition in fstab, without actually creating a valid filesystem. Of course, this 
makes normal boot impossible.

Suggestion...:
if actual_fs != partition_type then displaywaringmessage("You need to format or use 
another utility to create a valid fs...!")
