Steps to recreate:
Remove package (rpm -ev nullidentd).
Check xinetd. service xinetd status and chkconfig --list both show xinetd as
OFF.
The problem is a preuninstall scriptlet:
/usr/share/rpm-helper/del-service nullidentd $1 xinetd
Looks like the script should be replaced with one that simply restarts xinetd
(service xinetd restat) after removal is complete.
Note: I rebuilt the cooker SRPM for my 9.1 system, but this should be valid for
pure cooker as well.
