But Charles, upgrading to 1.5 can mean a lot of trouble too. Yes,
sooner or later we will move on, but for now, you have do these steps
when building stuff with libtool 1.5, if software was bundling libtool
1.4:
%{_libtoolize} -c -f
aclocal
autoconf
Here, aclocal is for picking up the right libtool.m4 macros, and autoconf
is for including these correct macros into ./configure. Otherwise,
libtool won't be generated correctly, and you'll see lots of error or
warning messages when executing libtool.
This serves as alert message to everybody as well, since we will be
facing it some time later.
