Newest driver can be used by several program at the same time. I have xmms playing, while playing Enemy terroirory, and OSS application can play sound too. but arts fails to play sound. Does arts lock the device in exclusive mode ? If this is disabled, users sohould be able to use their own artsd daemon at the same time .... Emmanuel
