Not entirely ... I have't got postfix->ldap authentication working, and I
am doing most work on this on a 9.1 box (since that machine is not
involved in ldap replication etc as my cooker box is, and I want to have a
machine left to ensure replication works on a real-life openldap on the
cooker upgrade).

Probably ensuring an upgrade from openldap-2.0.x to openldap-2.1.x will
result in a working ldap server without user intervention (or as near to
that as possible), which still needs some work ... and since no-one else
has looked at it, may depend on how much time I can spend on it ... and I
don't want to have to do work on update packages again!

Someone I helped by email with some samba/LDAP problems in a large-ish
deployment asked me if I had a wishlist, which I subsequently set up, and
I just received a few books from Amazon, including Jerry (Gerald) Carter's
O'Reilly LDAP System Administration, and Learning Perl, so I have learnt a
thing or two that might be worth implementing from the first book if I can
bend my head around the second one enough to do it ;-).

Looks like we need a todo list for some packages (since it's probably not
ideal to have bugs for each little thing like this ....).

I'll see if I can take a look at these issues this week, starting tonight
.... I also still need to run some tests on samba3-beta2, and bug Warly
about klama enough so I can build samba3 there unless the samba3 RPMS are
destined to be built on my own cooker box ;-).
