But it may be useful to give postfix a kick so it will try and flush
mail. While this won't need a restart, since it is likely that a file in
the chroot would probably need an update, the init script needs to be
run in a mode that would update the files. So maybe a 'reload' is more
appropriate?

I don't think dhclient should be relied upon, since it would be nice if
the system would handle changing from a static IP to a dynamic IP.
But you do bring up a good point about WINS, it could be an idea to have
dhclient update the WINS ip for samba. The samba team at one stage had
plans to implement this some other way (possibly having samba read it
directly from the lease file?), but it may be worthwhile looking at.
nmbd should probably be kicked anyway, since if you're not using wins,
you would want to re-broadcast to find the master browser or start an
election. But then maybe we need to split the smbd and nmbd init scripts
(as SuSE has done).
