I installed with only the 1st CD.
My computer is an AMD Athlon 600MHz, 256Mb, 27Gb+10Gb HD, Creative
Annahilator (Geforce), SB Live.

I cleared all partitions of my 1st HD (27Gb) and went for auto-allocate.
        swap 392Mb
        / 243Mb
        /usr 2996Mb
        /var 14213Mb
        /home 8212Mb

I was wondering why /var gets allocated more diskspace then /home, can
someone possibly explain this?

Also, when I tried to auto-allocate my 2nd disk, this didn't work (so I
could only auto-allocate one disk).

After I formatted all partitions I changed my mind, so I went back and
wanted to repartition, in order to do this I had to unmount the
partitions. Unfortunately this is NOT possible:
/usr/bin/perl-install/fs.pm "error unmount /backup line 220". Apparently
it tried to unmount /backup instead of /mnt/backup (during the install).

Apart from that it went ok, except for the security things. I have a
local network and I installed a dailup adapter, but I was not given the
option to install any security packages.

Also, after completing the installation I logged in using gnome and
started kisocd. I noticed that when starting kfm (from kisocd), kfm puts
the "K" desktop items on the desktop, BUT I also have a gnome desktop
wich results in a mixed gnome/kde desktop (wich doesn't look very nice).

oh... btw.. should the installation also autodetect mousewheel mouses?

"Yeah, I know how it is," said the cat sympathetically. "People throwing
old boots and things at you."
