You don't want to know how many times I have told newbies how to do
this, or how many times I have seen people on other support fora
(a.o.l.m, mandrakeusers.org) suggest the lilo route.

But it would be much clearer if the now abundant screen real-estate were
used to say something like "If your computer needs ACPI power management
support to function correctly, use the advanced button to enable it, or
use Mandrake Control Center to do so after installation".

At least then, users wouldn't be able to complain like this ...
