As the winmodem should work, I don't need PCMCIA > for now. This user is running -22mdk on 9.1. With the rc1 kernel from cooker, he had pcmcia support, but not with 0.13mdk or 0.18mdk. But -22mdk is the only kernel usable by him at present, due to the fixes it has. I can ask him for more detail if necessary.
