Kolab itself is a web frontend for administering openldap-2.1.x,
cyrus-imapd, proftpd, postfix. You will notice that there is some work
going on on those packages (notably cyrus-sasl, openldap, possibly
cyrus-imapd), partly in preparation for kolab (I will try and install it
on my own machine shorly).

Biggest waste of time so far with kolab is removing all the stupid macros
from the kolab spec file (and figuring out how to easily replace about 40
uses off "install -e 's/pattern/newpattern/'" since it seems thay are
incapable of using a decent 'make install' for this.

I am hoping we will have at least openldap-2.1 and postfix authenticating
via sasl2 nicely, and updated cyrus-imapd packages very soon, but that may
depend on Florin's holiday plans ...

Buchan
