Hi,

More info: 2.4.22-pre5 hangs the same, but it works compiled just
at -O1 optimization level. So it all smells to a bug in current gcc
optmizer, -O2 breaks and -O1 works.
Try to build with -fno-vrp and/or -fno-strict-aliasing.
