I am behind a proxy, and when I try to install via proxy, it times out,
trying to fetch data via ftp (I have setup the proxy allright).
Lockily I have space on a server which I can access from my own PC, so I
downloaded the complete beta version using rsync. Unfortunately this
does not work either, it can go to the point after it has formatted the
drives, and I have to choose packages, then it says something about it
cant find hdlists.cz2, and bails out. I think the problem might be that
it "forgets" the username and password for the server, because when i
quit the installation program I can see something like "no such user" or
something like that.
I have also tried to download it to a my hard drive, but then I have to
reboot when I partition my HD, and then it forgets that I want ReiserFS.
(I think I can get it to work by first partition and format to ReiserFS
using the FTP install, and when it bails out continue using HD install,
but that must be possible to fix)
