I made a package of 2.5stable1 for someone running 9.0, but they never reported getting it working. http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/9.0/squid-2.5.STABLE1-4mdk.i586.rpm samba has been compiled to allow this to work since 2.2.7-5mdk, also, this is the one application where it may not be useful to have winbind added to the passwd line of /etc/nsswitch.conf, so if it works, it may mean we need to change the way some things are done ...
