I just dropped ftp.sunet.se (well, disabled it in the urpmi config file), because something is seriously wrong with it, or was last time I used it several days ago and had been for a number of days. Some rpms simply didn't exist in ANY release on the server, KDE in particular. After comparing listings with another mirror (the rpmfind mirror at rpmfind.speakeasy.net) and realizing how far out of date it was, I added a new one to urpmi (not the rpmfind mirror above as I don't know if it does rsync which I prefer for my urpmi setups), and had nearly a gig of updates to install. After installing part of them, I did an urpmi --auto-select, and it wanted to **REMOVE the latest KDEs and put back old once apparently still listed in the hdlist from sunet, but not on the server so it errored out downloading them. In ordered to get the other mirror working properly without urpmi trying to remove stuff, I had to disable the sunet.se entry. Then using the updated mirror, everything went fine. Anyway, sunet.se seems to be out of contention, at least for cookerites, for now. -- Duncan - List replies preferred.
