I was planning to delete them after abiword was rebuilt against the new aiksaurus, but I couldn't get abiword/abiword2 compiled with the latest gcc. Now that lyx needs aiksaurus, I guess that this version should stay, because the soname in the library changed. At least abiword-1.0.6 didn't want to compile against aiksaurus-1.0, and I guess the same counts for lyx. Should aiksaurus-1.0 be deleted from contrib, and only be put in (versioned) when abiword2 needs it? I guess that would make the most sense. -- Marcel Pol
