I think there is still a minor problem in packaging.
- From the spec file, in %files clients:
%dir %{_localstatedir}/nfs
%dir %{_localstatedir}/nfs/state
%doc README
%dir %attr(700,rpcuser,rpcuser) /var/lib/nfs/statd
When I restarted nfslock service, rpc.statd would not start up:
Jul 23 19:36:14 bgmilne rpc.statd[18121]: open (/var/lib/nfs/state):
Permission denied
So, I chown'ed it rpcuser, and tried again, then:
Jul 23 19:36:52 bgmilne rpc.statd[18266]: mkdir (/var/lib/nfs/sm.bak):
Permission denied
So, I chown'ed rpcuser /var/lib/nfs
I remember having problems like this in the past (I am sure there is a
bugzilla entry somewhere on this ...), so can you solve this? Maybe having:
%dir %attr(700,rpcuser,rpcuser) %{_localstatedir}/nfs
is sufficient?
Or should it be mode 755 (as it is at present)?
