------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-23-07 21:34 -------
Mozilla doesn't yet support accessilibity enabling through
"/desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility" GConf key (work in progress)..

set GNOME_ACCESSIBILITY=1 variable before starting mozilla to get accessibility
in mozilla..

Or use Galeon/Epiphany, they support "/desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility"
GConf key and use Mozilla HTML engine (gecko)..

Closing as Work for Me... Further a11y mozilla bug should be reported upstream.

description:
my LD_LIBRARY_PATH begins with /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/ which contains
accessibility libraries,
I did gconftool-2 --set "/desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility" --type boolean
"True" to enable accessibility
but launching mozilla does not write messages indicating any accessibility
registering ( neither "GTK Accessibility Module initialized" nor "Atk
Accessibilty bridge initialized") and program at-poke does not find mozilla (but
finds other gnome programs such as eog or galeon).

I think mozilla is the only linux webbrowser with accessibility (I believe
gtkmozembed does not export (yet) it's accessibility hooks to other browsers
such as galeon, so this bug is important to me.

PS: I have gail-1.3.1-1mdk, libgail-gnome-1.0.2-2mdk, libgail17-1.3.1-1mdk,
libatk1.0_0-1.3.1-2mdk, at-spi-1.3.1-1mdk and libat-spi0-1.3.1-1mdk installed if
that matters
