Noticed some odd stuff going from 1.3.6 to 1.3.7. Talked about it with
tko on #galeon, and he concludes the package is broken. The two problems
I noticed were that tabs defaulted to being arranged vertically down the
left hand side (instead of horizontally along the top, as previously)
and the colours for visited links, unvisited links, loading tabs and
unviewed tabs had all defaulted to black. Here's a log of the
conversation:

<AdamW> what is this vertical tab nonsense?!
<AdamW> how do I disable it, pronto?
<AdamW> :)

<tko> AdamW, just change the gconf key back to normal, but please first
figure out why it changes in the first place :)
<tko> I have no idea...
<AdamW> what gconf key?
<AdamW> I can't find one...
<AdamW> the only two I have in UI/Tabs are "tabbed" and "tabbed_popups"
<tko> which version?
<tko> there should be tabbed_position
<AdamW> 1.3.7
<AdamW> mdk cooker packaged version
<AdamW> (so if that's the problem, blame fcrozat :>)
<AdamW> if I create a tabbed_position key, what should I set it to?
<tko> hmm.. if there's something borken in the schema installation, that
might explain why the position changes
<tko> int, value = 2
<AdamW> k
<AdamW> that does the job
<AdamW> thanks
<AdamW> should there be a corresponding option within galeon anywhere,
or is it a gconf-only job?
<tko> gconf only atm
<AdamW> oh, hmm
<AdamW> something else that's got messed up between versions...colours
<-- teuf has quit (Remote closed the connection)
<AdamW> the colours for loading tab, not viewed tab, visited link and
unvisited link have all been set to black
<tko> how does
/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/apps/galeon/UI/Tabs/%gconf.xml look like?
<AdamW> this is going from 1.3.6 to 1.3.7 cooker packages, btw.
<tko> does it include tabbed_position ?
<AdamW> there's no UI directory there.
<AdamW> [EMAIL PROTECTED] adamw]$ ls
/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/apps/galeon/
<AdamW> Advanced/ Browsing/ %gconf.xml
<AdamW> [EMAIL PROTECTED] adamw]$
<tko> packaging borkage then
<AdamW> k
<AdamW> I shall hit fred about the head with something blunt
<AdamW> thanks :)
<tko> that makes me wonder if all the instances of moving tabs have been
on mdk...
