------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-23-07 23:03 ------- > Should rpm-build require autoconf-1.4 or should each package that requires > autoconf-1.4 require it explicitly ? I assume you meant automake. There is no easy solution. Packages are *assumed* to build with the default autoconf. If they don't, then they must require a newer automake (ie >=1.6 etc). But, since automake1.6 now installs parallel with automake-1.4, maybe it would be ok for rpm-build to require automake <1.5 ? It should not prevent automake1.6 or automake1.7 being installed. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: nautilus needs automake to be built, it should build require it + aclocal-1.4 /home/olivier/rpm/tmp/rpm-tmp.4018: line 52: aclocal-1.4: command not found $ urpmf bin/aclocal-1.4 automake:/usr/bin/aclocal-1.4
