The firewire driver that loads on the install locks the system, and has been
doing it since the early Mandrake 9 betas...
It is quite frustrating, and well documented on the linux forum at
powernotebooks, and Sager forums.

the driver it loads ohci1394
I don't understand why Red Hat can get it right, but it takes 2 years for
Mandrake to get it...This isn't the first time I posted this....
