First, you need to update your list of components in bugzilla. rpm reports the
version of drakfirsttime as 0.91-14mdk (I'm using Mandrake 9.2 Beta 1).
Although this applies to whatever version came with Mandrake 9.1 as well.

When the first time wizard is launched, the user is asked for a choice of window
manager (KDE, GNOME, or something else). This was a really cool addition on the
part of Mandrake in Mandrake 9.1. However, when the user selects GNOME, the
choices of mail clients presented by drakmail are Kmail (which may be fine for
KDE users, but GNOME users want an integrated mail client too), and Mozilla-mail
(I've personally always hated Netscape Mail and Mozilla Mail despite the fact
that I love their browsers). In my humble opinion this was very rude.
Evolution should be on the list as well.

This was one of the several issues (all of which were small) that
caused me to stop using Mandrake (and stop suggesting that others use
it) when Mandrake 9.1 was released. However, I regard it as a failing
on my part for not participating in the Beta process last time
around--so I'm mending my ways for the upcoming Mandrake release. I
believe Mandrake has an awesome offering that would only require
several small tweaks to become the best distribution.
