description:
I'm using Mandrake 9.2-Beta 1.
Under individual package selection, every time I select a new package to install
(and it actually works--see bug 4289 and another bug that I'm about to submit
for cases where it doesn't work at all), I'm given a long list of other packages
that I'm told "will also be installed" such as XFree86, bash, etc. The list is
huge, and even at a quick glance I noticed that bash was in the list each and
every time. I don't think packages which are already selected (such as XFree86
& bash) should appear in any such list. The user should only be told the
unselected packages which will need to be installed in order to install the
given package. I don't remember seeing this behavior with Mandrake 8.2, 9.0, or
9.1, so I believe this bug is unique to Mandrake 9.2-Beta1.
