symptom: repeatable segfault after about 15secs.
this went away when i installed libpwlib1-devel which forced the installation
of:
libldap2-2.1.22-2mdk.i586
libldap2-devel-2.1.22-2mdk.i586
libpwlib1-devel-1.5.0-13mdk.i586
libsasl2-2.1.15-1mdk.i586
libsasl2-devel-2.1.15-1mdk.i586
