I know for sure that the texstar KDE rpms for LM9.2 (in
ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/mandrake/9.1/rpms
) have support for the RANDR extension which allows on the fly resolution
change. Unfortunately, the current official mandrake KDE rpms in LM9.2 beta1 do
not have that feature. This problem, when combined with bug 4322 , makes it
impossible to change screen resolution at all.
