gconftool-2 has some problem in its i18n, accentuated characters aren't
displayed properly.
With french locale:
$ gconftool-2 --help
Usage: gconftool-2 [OPTION...]
-s, --set Définit une valeur � une
clé et synchronise. �€
utiliser avec --type.
